The basics

What is psilocybin?

Psilocybin is a naturally occurring psychedelic compound found in certain mushrooms.

In the body
The body converts psilocybin into psilocin, which acts on serotonin receptors.
In an experience
It can change perception, mood and the sense of time. Responses vary and can include anxiety or nausea.
The varieties

Penis Envy & Enigma.

Psilocybe cubensis
Penis Envy
Penis Envy is a funny name but if you saw what these things looked like you would understand! They are a popular strain and are ~20-30 percent less potent than the Enigma. These are psilocybe cubensis mushrooms and they go into our capsules and gummies (soon in raw form as well)
Psilocybe cubensis
Enigma
Enigma is one of the most potent strains of psilocybe cubensis mushrooms, we use it in a blend with our chocolate bars only, about a 50-50 mix. It is for deeper journeys but can be extremely fun and uplifting, this is for more experienced psychonauts!

Research finds variation between varieties and between individual mushrooms. Appearance alone cannot establish potency.

Our approach

Grown by us.
With intention and love.

We grow all of our mushrooms ourselves. For us, it’s a labor of love, with intention and purpose behind the work. We don’t promise the world. We want to share what we know, honestly.

Wherever you are in your understanding of mushrooms, clear information comes first.

The blend

What is the Numa functional mushroom blend?

Our mushroom range uses two varieties we grow ourselves: Penis Envy and Enigma. Both belong to Psilocybe cubensis and contain psilocybin.

Here, “functional mushroom blend” refers to psilocybin-containing mushrooms.
